Police say a couple staying at the Liberty Inn Hotel in Hinesville was taken hostage Tuesday morning.
According to police, three men broke in. Two of them took the man across the street to a Wells Fargo bank and ordered him to withdraw money from his account while one held the woman at the hotel.
At the bank, the victim somehow notified the teller, who called 911 and stalled the transaction until police arrived. Two of the men were arrested at the bank. The woman was later found unharmed but police are still looking for the third man involved.
