Weddings for Warriors event set for Wednesday

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah Wedding Tourism Council is providing some military couples with free weddings and vow renewal ceremonies for the fifth time now.

The Weddings for Warriors Program takes care of everything from the cake to the reception.

More than 100 businesses have pitched in for the big day, set for Jan. 16.

A man who repairs water towers collapsed more than 100 feet in the air above Cobbtown. Fire and rescue crews had to climb to the top of the tower and lower him to safety.
