Driver slams into several trees on Quacco Rd.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

An investigation is under way after an overnight single vehicle wreck in Savannah.

Officials say a driver lost control while driving southbound on Quacco Rd. at Laurelwood Dr. around midnight and went in to a ditch, hitting several trees.

The driver reported that someone ran out into the road but state troopers say there isn't anything at this time to indicate that is true.

The 20-year-old male driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
