Lady's Island man charged with bomb threat

Charles Edward Deal III (Source: Beaufort Co. Detention Center)

LADY'S ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

Charles Edward Deal III, 74, of Lady's Island, was arrested by SLED agents Wednesday in connection with a threat involving a bomb.

Deal has been charged with one count of threatening to use a destructive device, which is a felony with a penalty of up to 15 years in prison upon conviction.

Deal is currently being held at the Beaufort County Detention Center.
