Lowcountry home sales increase in 2012

BEAUFORT CO., SC (WTOC) -

Home sales in parts of the lowcountry are on the rise.

Home sales in the Hilton Head area increased by more than 20 percent in 2012 compared to the previous year and jumped more than any other part of the state. In Beaufort, sales rose nearly 12 percent. Statewide sales increased by nearly 13 percent.
