SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

One man was struck by a bullet Saturday night off of Liberty Street.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police confirmed that a man in his early 20s was hit by gunfire in the Fred Wessels housing complex at about 6 p.m. Saturday.

Officers say the man was taken to the hospital with injuries expected to be non-life-threatening.
