NAACP to install new officers

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah branch of the NAACP will hold its 2013 Service for the Installation of the President, Officers and Executive Committee.

The Honorable Judge LeRoy Burke III, from the Chatham County Juvenile Court, will install the Officers and Executive Committee and the Honorable Chief Judge Tammy C. Stokes, from the Chatham County Recorder's Court, will install the President, Al Scott.

Greetings, musical selections and a Challenge to the NAACP will be performed by dignitaries from throughout the community.

WTOC's own Brandi Cummings will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies. 

This event will be held Sunday, January 27, 4 PM at St. Philip A.M.E. Church, 613 Martin Luther King Blvd. The public is encouraged to attend.
