Savannah-Chatham Metro Police are trying find and identify a gunman who has been stalking customers at a W Bay St. ATM.
The black male, who is about 5'7" to 5'9" and weighs between 145 and 160 pounds, usually wears a mask and/or a hooded shirt or jacket. Police say he approaches customers using the ATM at the Wells Fargo Bank in the 3500 block of W Bay St.
According to authorities, the suspect has forced customers to withdraw money and give it to him on at least four different occasions. They say the gunman always runs away from the bank on foot.
Robbery detectives believe the suspect may have also been involved in other incidents in both Savannah and Garden City.
