Annual Rural Summit contest open to amateur photographers

COLUMBIA, SC (WTOC) -

The 9th annual Rural Summit Contest is now open to amateur photographers in the Palmetto State.

The state's Department of Commerce is looking for photos that define rural South Carolina.

The deadline for submission is Friday, February 15th. Attendees of the Rural Summit will vote, and the winning photo will be announced at the end of the program on March 4. Fifteen finalist photos will be chosen by S.C. Department of Commerce staff and displayed at the Rural Summit.
