Savannah teen found safe

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police said they located a missing 16-year-old girl who left home Wednesday.

The family of Ivey Curry, of Savannah, was concerned about her safety.

SCMPD patrol officers over the weekend found Curry and returned safely to her home.

Curry left her home on Pine Valley Road after a family discussion and has not been heard from since. Some of Curry's items were found Friday morning in a park near her residence.

Curry is a Jenkins High School student and is known to frequent the area around Derenne Ave.
