LIBERTY CO., GA (WTOC) -
Two adults and two kids were involved in an accident Friday evening in Liberty County.
According to Officer Jason Garrett of the Hinesville Police Department, Kordera Hardnett was traveling eastbound on GA Highway 196 and E.G. Miles Parkway and attempted to make a left turn onto Veterans Parkway. Hardnett, in a 2006 Chrysler 300, collided into Kevin Brown's 2006 Dodge Ram, which was traveling in the opposite direction on Veterans Parkway.
Liberty County EMS rushed Brown to Liberty Regional Medical Center, where he was later transported to St. Joseph's Candler Hospital in Savannah with minor injuries. The two-year-old child and Hardnett suffered minor injuries after the crash and received medical attention from paramedics on scene. Hardnett refused to be taken to the hospital, says Garrett.
The 7-year-old child had to be airlifted by LifeStar to Memorial University Hospital in Savannah and is in stable condition in ICU.
Officer Garrett and the Hinesville Police Department are still investigating the accident.
