Residents evacuate apartment due to fire

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

Fire crews and Red Cross volunteers responded to an apartment fire in Statesboro late Friday night.

The fire happened at Sage Brush apartments on Fair Road. Two units at the apartment complex were damaged. One housed a family of six and the other had 3 college students.

Fire officials are investigating what caused the fire. No one was injured.
