SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
A local ice cream shop owner is reaching out to someone hundreds of miles away.
Movie producer and Leopold's Ice Cream owner Stratton Leopold is responding to a picture posted by a fellow ice cream shop owner in New Orleans.
The photo pictures NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, with a statement saying to deny the commissioner service.
Four coaches/front office personnel and four players were suspended during the 2012 season (some for the entire season) after allegations rose of a bounty program taking place in the Saints locker room. Dubbed "Bountygate" by the sports world, the suspensions have caused a lot of resentment towards the commissioner from the Saints and the New Orleans community.
Leopold says that's no reason not to serve him ice cream, he even has made a video response to the photo.
