It was playtime Saturday at Oatland Island Wildlife Center for the animals and the guests.
Children piled into the wildlife center for Oatland's Animal Enrichment day.
It was a chance for guests to watch the animals play with toys donated by Oatland supporters over the holiday season.
"It seems simple like toys and treats. It seems like an extraneous thing, but it's really important in an animal's health and happiness, especially a captive animal. It gets them to interact with their environment more, to practice their natural instincts more if they have to investigate a toy and figure out a way to get the treats out, so it's really crucial to keeping them healthy and happy." said Audra Crowskey, Oatland Animal Control Technician.
