Railroad crossing closed for maintenance

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A CSX railroad crossing on Chevis Road will be closed until Tuesday for maintenance.

Beginning at 8 a.m. on Jan. 27, commuters in the area are advised to seek alternate routes and allow for additional travel time until 8 a.m. on Jan. 29, when the crossing is scheduled to be re-opened.

Traffic will be detoured off of Hwy 17 to Hwy 204 to King George Blvd. to Wild Heron Dr.
