Accident on Interstate 95 slows down traffic

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A crash in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 near the Highway 204 exit snarled traffic for most of the day in Savannah on Sunday.

According to folks on the scene a Hummer SUV flipped several times before landing in a ditch near the off ramp of highway 204. Officials say the driver fell asleep at the wheel but amazingly he and his dog were not hurt in the crash.
