Family of stabbing victim sets up recovery fund

BRYAN CO., GA (WTOC) -

The family of a stabbing victim in Bryan County is now accepting money for his recovery.

The family of Gary Watkins says he has taken a turn for the worse. Investigators think Watkins was stabbed several times by a friend last week in Bryan County.

Authorities have arrested Jesse Neumans, 31, for the crime. Neumans is currently in the Bryan County Jail on charges of aggravated assault.

The family has set up a fund for Gary Watkins' recovery. Donations to "The Gary Watkins Recovery Fund" can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank branch.
