Fire crews battle mobile home fire in Effingham Co.

GUYTON, GA (WTOC) -

Several fire units had to be called out to help battle a mobile home fire Monday morning in Effingham County. 

It happened at a home on Noel C Conaway Rd. off Redmond Rd. in Guyton. The fire was in a non-hydrant area. Fire crews were having trouble shuttling water to the scene so 5 units were called out to help battle the blaze. 

Fire officials say half of the mobile home has been damaged by flames. No injuries have been reported.

Officials have Noel C blocked off at this time. Drivers should avoid the area.
