Police question four suspects in home invasion

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Four men are being interview after they surrendered to Savannah-Chatham Metro Police surrounding the house where they were hiding following a home invasion robbery on Monday.

Officers from the Island Precinct were called to the 2300 block of Downing Ave., where victims said gunmen had entered the residence and had stolen items.

Officers from the Central Precinct located a gray Infiniti that was seen leaving the robbery location in the 1600 block of E 37th St.

Authorities found two men trying to enter another car in the garage and two others in the house signaled to police outside that they wanted to surrender.

Detectives from the SCMPD Robbery Unit are continuing to investigate.
