SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Contactors for
the Georgia Dept. of Transportation will be setting up a temporary road closure
and detour for both lanes of White Bluff Road on Wednesday.
Crews are
building a new bridge over White Bluff Road. The closure will run from 10 p.m.
Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday on White Bluff Road between Holland Drive and
Tibet Avenue.
The closure will
divert northbound traffic off of White Bluff Road onto Holland Drive. Southbound
traffic will be detoured onto Tibet Avenue and will be closed to through traffic.
Drivers will be
able to access businesses, schools, and residents in the area, according to the
