The suspects of a violent home invasion, Antoine Williams, 20, and Darryl Stafford, 28, were arraigned Tuesday afternoon, charged with armed robbery. Both were denied bond.
Police say they stormed into Jasmine Place Apartments with guns Monday morning and held two brothers at gunpoint while they robbed them of electronics and a shotgun.
"I am so relieved to know they are in custody for the simple fact they did wrong. They should be there. Everyone needs to look out for each other. This is something that goes on in every neighborhood, not just mine," said Tobias Mulligan, neighbor.
The victims were able to get most of their stuff back Monday night after police say they found the stolen items at a house on E 37th St.
"When you have someone who breaks into a home like this, a home invasion, a someone takes items and you are able to return them, it gives them a little bit of solace at the end of the day," said Chris Ross, SCMPD detective.
Police were able to find the suspects because the iPhones and iPads stolen in the home invasion have tracking devices built in.
