Low Country Principal Indicted

A Low Country educator has been indicted by a grand jury for violating state procedure on a standardized test. Rosalyn Browne is principal at Whale Branch Middle School in Beaufort County.

The school district has placed Browne on paid administrative leave. She was indicted after a South Carolina Law Enforcement Division investigation.

If convicted, Browne faces a fine of up to $1,000 or 90 days in jail.
