Students at Blessed Sacrament are raising money for the American Heart Association while celebrating Catholic School Week. On Wednesday, the children in pre-k through 5th grade participated in Jump Rope for Heart. The event not only helps others but promotes healthy living for students at the school.
"It is very successful. The children love the opportunity to help their neighbors. We are all about community service here at Blessed Sacrament School and it is great to combine service and fun at the same time," said Ethel Tuttle, 8th grade teacher.
