According to a court document, a Davidson County judge signed off on a temporary restraining order that could allow some of the establishments to keep operating in our area.
The restraining order was signed this week and allows the businesses with International Internet Technology software to continue to stay in business.
A number of our local sweepstakes cafes operate with that software. Eight are in Brunswick County and two are in Columbus County.
