BULLOCH CO., GA (WTOC) -
Bulloch County sheriff's deputies were called to RC Machine and Tool on Mill Creek Rd. on Jan. 25 to investigate a metal theft. The investigation linked Roy Ashton Wilson, 27, of Brooklet, to the crime and arrest warrants were issued.
Deputies responded to another section of Mill Creek Rd. on Jan. 27 for the theft of a trailer and several pieces of farm equipment.
On Jan. 30, Wilson turned himself in to authorities. He admitted to both the RC Machine and Tool theft and the trailer and farm equipment theft.
Deputies located the stolen trailer at a residence in the 4000 block of Old River Rd. South, where it had already been repainted. Authorities arrested Jimmie Joe Bath Jr., 53, of Brooklet, the individual in possession of the trailer. He was charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property.
Authorities are continuing to investigate other crimes that Wilson might be responsible for.
