APPLING CO., GA (WTOC) -

A bond hearing is set for Friday for an Appling County man charged with murdering his wife.

Jonathon Courson is facing several charges, including murdering his wife Mandy, drugging his 2-year-old daughter and insurance fraud, among other charges.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations arrested Jonathan Courson after they say he faked a home invasion, claiming two men broke in to their home on Corey Street just outside of Baxley on Jan. 4, tied the couple up, ransacked the home and killed his wife.

Courson denies any involvement in the murder.
