Black Heritage Festival kicks off Friday in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Catch the kick-off of the 2013 Savannah Black Heritage Festival on Friday.

The event will open with the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center.

The Savannah Black Heritage Festival is presented by the city of Savannah and Savannah State University. The theme for this year's festival is, "Living the Legacy: Celebrating the Life of Westley W. Law."
