Police say the pickup truck went into a ditch, hit an embankment and flipped end-over-end.

A
Savannah woman was killed Thursday night in a crash at Fort Argyle and John
Carter roads.

Metro Police said that at about 6:22 p.m., Joanne Marguerite Usher, 39, was
speeding in the black Dodge pickup truck she was driving, lost control and
crashed at Fort Argyle and John Carter roads.
Police
said she driving west on Fort Argyle Road when she entered a curve and the
pickup truck went into a ditch, where it hit an embankment and flipped end-over-end
onto the shoulder of the road.
Usher
died at the scene. SCMPD's Major Accident Investigation Team continues to
investigate the crash.
