Imagine you get the perfect used car for a great price, then it was just black full of smoke! The whole thing was a complete loss for me.

In the special report Dangers on the Lot, WTOC's Cyreia Sandlin shows you how used car lots are getting away with not addressing recalls that might put you and your family in danger.

"They're all serious. They could cost you your life. They could cause a crash," said an auto safety expert.
