Hundreds participate in the Critz Tybee Run Fest

TYBEE ISLAND, GA (WTOC) -

The Critz Tybee Run Fest's races got off to a roaring start.

Several hundred people signed up to run the six races that were part of the run fest.

The 5k race was held Friday along with a kiddie race. The 10k, half marathon, 2.8 mile run and, mile run were held Saturday.

The day started out cold for runners, but eventually warmed to ideal running weather.

YMCA 1-mile
