Traffic delays expected on S.R. 204 Spur

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Contractors for the Georgia DOT will be paving the intersection of S.R. 204 Spur/Whitefield Ave. and Mistwood Ln. and the intersection of S.R. 204 Spur/Diamond Causeway/Whitefield Ave. and Ferguson Ave. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 5 and Feb. 6, weather permitting.

Traffic delays are expected. A temporary flagging operation will direct traffic through the work zone.

On Friday, parents lined the Pine Barren Road, trying to retrieve their kids. The middle school students were relocated to West Chatham Elementary School after a suspicious package was found at West Chatham Middle School.
