Part of White Bluff Road to close for bridge work

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

A section of White Bluff Road will be closed Tuesday while the Georgia Dept. of Transportation is working on the new bridge over the road.

The closure will be set for 10 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday, weather permitting. It runs on White Bluff Road between Holland Drive and Tibet Avenue. A detour will be in place during that time.

Northbound traffic will be detoured off of White Bluff Road onto Holland Drive. Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Tibet Avenue. Drivers will be able to access businesses, schools, and residents in the area.

Signs, barrels and/or cones will be place to drivers of the upcoming changes.
