EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -
Effingham County drug investigators have locked up a suspected meth cook they say they've been after for months.
Deputies say they got information that the suspect, Andy Morris, was involved with cooking meth along with other drug activities.
After making a traffic stop in Guyton, deputies searched Morris' car and then got a warrant to search his home. That is where they found multiple meth labs and ingredients needed to make the drug, along with a loaded shot gun. Morris is a convicted felon.
Deputies say they have been working on this investigation for almost three months.
Morris is now in jail facing multiple drug charges.
