BURTON, SC (WTOC) -

A group was robbed late Wednesday night at Burton home late Wednesday night.

Just before 12 a.m., deputies responded to the home at on Country Manor Road. Deputies met with the 30-year-old male homeowner who said he and several other guests had been playing poker in the garage when a man got in and robbed them at gunpoint, according to the BCSO.

The victims told deputies the suspect came in through an unlocked side door, brandished a handgun and ordered everyone to the floor. The suspect then directed one of the victims to collect cash from each person and put it into the suspect's bag. After stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and two cell phones, the suspect fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The suspect was described as a thin, light-skinned black male with a mask over the lower half of his face. He was wearing a green hoodie that had a gold design.

The victims also said they heard the suspect yell to another person they couldn't see but who they thought was standing outside the garage during the robbery.
