On this week's installment of "Horry County's Most Wanted," WMBF News' Theo Hayes profiles our first female fugitive, as well as a man wanted for grand larceny.

Mary G. Almeida, 32, is wanted by Horry County Sheriff's Deputies for failure to pay child support, according to documents provided by the sheriff's office. Her last known address was on Virgo Lane in Myrtle Beach.

She's accused of not paying child support in over a year and owes more than $3,000.

Failure to pay child support may not seem like a big crime to some but deputy Chris Palmer says otherwise.

"It makes me a little bit sad because the child is depending on that money to live and the parent that's required to pay should be paying," says Palmer.

James Raymond Markham, 48, is the other suspect authorities are searching for. He is wanted for with grand larceny over $10,000, sheriff's officials state, and he was last seen in the area near Landmark Drive in Sumter, South Carolina.

Authorities say back on July 25 of 2011, Markham broke into a woman's home on Andorra Street in Longs and stole thousands of dollars in jewelry out of her safe.

If you have any information on this week's Most Wanted call authorities. No tip is too small and you can remain anonymous.

Making the arrests

Less than a month after the premiere of "Horry County's Most Wanted" on WMBF News, a second "most wanted" fugitive is already behind bars. Richard Hemingway was arrested in Longs on Tuesday after deputies received a tip to his location.

Hemingway was wanted for failure to appear on an attempted murder charge, officials state, and after a short foot chase, he was arrested, along with two other men. Officials also seized two guns and a variety of drugs at the scene.

Thanks to the help of tips to law enforcement officials, another wanted suspect is off the streets and back behind bars.
