RICEBORO, GA (WTOC) -
A Riceboro
couple was bitten by a family dog and they're undergoing preventative rabies
treatment, according to the Coastal Health District.
The rabid
German Shepard was not current with his rabies vaccination.
Residents are urged to get all pets vaccinated,
which is required by Georgia law.
Rabies is virus that
can be fatal and is primarily spread by infected animals.
