BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -
A
suspect is wanted in connection with an attempted robbery Thursday morning at a
Wells Fargo.
At
about 10:35 a.m., Beaufort police were called to the Wells Fargo at 1011 Bay
St.
Two
Swanson Services employees told police that as they got out of the vehicle,
another vehicle pulled up and a man got out, pointed a gun and demanded the
deposit bag.
The
victims ran in different directions and the employee who had the money ran into
the bank, according to police.
The suspect
was described as a black male who was wearing a hoodie and part of his face
covered by camouflage material. The suspect was armed with an unknown type of
handgun. No one was uninjured in the incident.
The
