Beaufort County sheriff's deputies say they're investigating four incidents that may involve the same suspect.
WTOC spoke with one resident who wanted to remain anonymous. She says the reports have caused her to change her life.
"I live close to where one of these incidents happened, and I'm scared," she said. "I used to go for runs. I used to take my daughter for walks. I don't do that anymore."
On Thursday night at Tanglewood Villas, a 13-year-old girl said she saw a man looking through her window when she walked into her bedroom. She had just stepped out of the shower.
The victim's mother told deputies she saw a man jump the fence a few minutes later.
Two weeks ago, someone called police saying they saw a man acting suspicious on Deallyon Ave., around 6:45 a.m. They told deputies the man was trying to watch young girls play tennis.
Last week, a clerk at The Metropolitan Hotel told deputies a man was standing in front of the hotel touching himself.
The sheriff's office is not sure if these recent reports have anything to do with another incident back in October, when a woman reported that she saw a man watching her through a second story bedroom window.
The woman ran outside and saw the man climbing down a ladder at her apartment building near Cordillo Pkwy., which is close to these recent reports.
"Residents should keep all doors and windows locked, especially the first floor," said Robin McIntosh, Beaufort Co. Sheriff's Office spokeswoman.
Deputies say they're investigating whether these incidents involve the same suspect.
Each victims said the man is about 5"10, between the ages of 20 and 30.
