Man shot in foot on Newcastle St.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Police are investigating a shooting that took place Thursday night on Newcastle St. in Savannah's Carver Heights neighborhood.

Authorities say somebody started shooting, wounding one man in the foot.

There is no word yet on who shot him or why.
