Three teenagers arrested in the homicide of Grayson High School student Paul Sampleton are due in Gwinnett County Court today, according to the court website.
Larnell Sillah, 15, is charged with homicide.
Romaine Stewart, 18, and Achiel Morgan, 15, are charged with armed robbery.
Sillah and Morgan have both been charged as adults.
All three suspects were students at Grayson High School.
Detectives believe the motive for this crime was robbery.
Investigators say the men knew that Sampleton traded in high-end sneakers and had nice clothing and electronics, according to detectives.
Sampleton, 14, was tied up and shot to death in his Gwinnett County home on Dec. 19.
Stephanie Stone, Sampleton's mother, reacted to the news of the arrests.
"The way things are nowadays, it's not surprising to me," said Stone. "I don't know what's wrong with the kids of today. I honestly don't understand why these young black men that are killing each other as a sport. It's just bewildering to me."
All three teenagers are being held without bond, police say there could be more charges coming.
