Some folks taking a ride to honor victims of the Imperial Sugar explosion.

The Red Knights Motorcycle Club hosted their 5th anniversary Sugar Run the poker run pays tribute to the victims and their families.

Our own Sonny Dixon was the emcee of the event and one of the riders. Many of the bikers were some of the first responders the night of the blast.

"It's been a long process to try to put out of your mind what happened and what really went on that night. Being a first responder, and showing up at the scene and everything. You really don't ever forget about the real bad scenes you go to. It always stays in the back of your mind," said Red Knights' Chapter President Tommy Branch.

More than 200 riders were part of the run.

So far they raised more than 3,600 dollars. All the money goes to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta.
