The Mighty Eigth Air Force Museum and Savannah Chatham County Public School System hosts their Character Counts Super Saturday.
Godley station fifth grader Emily Primmer was named the Ambassador of the Month. Emily was nominated by her teacher. Among the many reasons why she was nominated was her caring personality and her musical ability. Emily plays several instruments sometimes playing for residents at nursing homes. And during her summers she volunteers at the Humane Society of Greater Savannah. Even with her incredible list of achievements Emily says she did not expect to be nominated.
"I was really surprised to get it and I had no idea that I would get something that this big of an honor. It's just so amazing. I mean, it'll role in playing the president, when I grow up so," states Emily Primmer.
Emily hopes to be the first female president when she grows up.
