The American Heart Association holding their annual Hilton Head Heart Ball Saturday.
Hundreds of folks came to help raise money to reduce disability and death due to cardiovascular disease. The event included live entertainment, a live and silent auction, and a whole lot more. All going to a very worthy cause.
Dr. Scott Cummings says, "it's a great event, we have a great time, it's a great community service and a great time to get together with friends, meet new friends and it's a very worthy cause and we're honored to be part of that."
Wendy Cummings adds, "a lot of people that put a lot of work and effort into it. We get to come and enjoy it, but theres a lot of people that put a lot of tireless effort and hours into it."
Organizers hoped to raise one-hundred-and-sixty-five-thousand dollars at Saturday's event.
