BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -
Brunswick
police are asking for the public's help for information in two fatal shootings.
On
May 15, 2009, a man was found shot at about 9:51 p.m. in the 1700 block of
Norwich Street. Drew M. Sweeney, 52, man have last been seen walking in the 1700 block of Norwich Street carrying a pizza box from
Fox's Pizza.
Sweeney was described as a
white male who was 6' 0" tall and weighed 175 lbs. He had brown hair and blue
eyes. Anyone with any information on this case is asked to contact Det. Roy Blackstock.
Another fatal shooting in Brunswick remains unsolved. Police are hoping
someone with information will come forward.
On Aug. 31, 2011, Tytus Joel Alston, 18, was found fatally shot at about 10:33 p.m. in the
1400 block of Stonewall Street. He may have last been seen alive riding a scooter
in the area near where he was found. He is described as a black male with black
hair and brown eyes. He was 5'04" tall and weighed 130 lbs.
