New traffic light to be activated in Claxton

A new traffic signal is going to be activated in Claxton at the intersection of U.S. 280/S.R. 30/E. Main Street and S.R. 129/River Street. CLAXTON, GA (WTOC) -

A new traffic signal is going to be activated in Claxton at the intersection of U.S. 280/S.R. 30/E. Main Street and S.R. 129/River Street.

The traffic light will go into flash mode at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, weather permitting. It will be fully operational at 10 a.m. Thursday, weather permitting, according to the Georgia Dept. of Transportation.
