US Marshals arrest fugitive in Brunswick

BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -

U.S. Marshals and the Glynn Brunwick Violent Crimes Task Force captured a fugitive Monday.

Joseph Antjuan Edwards was taken into custody at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the McGarvey Apartment Complex located on Lanier Boulevard. He's charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm in a commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Edwards was wanted in connection with Jan. 29 shooting of Donte Antonio Flournoy at the intersection of Wolfe Street and North Street.
