PEMBROKE, GA (WTOC) -

The Georgia State Patrol has just released the preliminary report for the wreck involving a child killed while getting off the school bus.

Keshawn Odum, 5, died a day after he was hit along Georgia Hwy 119 in Pembroke. There were some witness reports that the driver of that truck passed the school bus - but the report clearly states the driver was approaching the bus.

The bus did have its stopping arm fully deployed and lights flashing - however it was raining. GSP's Specialized Reconstruction Team is handling the case and has not yet charged anyone in the case.

Georgia State Patrol said they will be at the crash scene again by week's end.
