STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

Former President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter will be visiting Georgia Southern University on Tuesday night.

They'll be speaking at 7 p.m. at Hanner Fieldhouse. The talk is part of Georgia Southern's popular leadership lecture series that is intended to provide students opportunities to hear influential leaders from around the world.

This will be the first time the former president and first lady will have spoken at Georgia Southern.
