Students at Tattnall County High School got a sneak peak at dozens of possible professions through the school's annual Career Day.
Visiting speakers included representatives from law enforcement, military service branches, medical fields, and private business owners.
"We have a career path program where students must decide in the 9th grade some of the courses they'll take through high school," explained organizer Gail Dixon. "We think it's important for them to hear from people who are in the work world in some of their possible careers so they hear what it's really like."
WTOC's Dal Cannady was one of the 49 presenters. Students choose and attend sessions with five of the guest speakers.
