Car overturns in Bluffton wreck

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

The Bluffton Parkway was shut down early Thursday morning due to a rollover crash.

The Bluffton Township Fire District and Beaufort County EMS were dispatched at about 2 a.m. to the Bluffton Parkway. Responders found a vehicle upside down with a person still inside. It took rescue crews approximately10-15 minutes to extricate the person.

An ambulance took the person to a Savannah hospital. Bluffton Parkway was closed for just over an hour while crews cleaned up the scene.

Bluffton police are investigating.
